According to Chinese Medicine the element of Wood correlates with Spring and it’s associated with vision, imagination and dreams. Spring is a time of growth and expansion and optimism. Like the seeds that have been laying in the hard winter earth conserving their resources, suddenly in Spring they our intentions, desires and dreams can burst spontaneously into life. The Wood element is about renewal, awakening and rebirth.
This workshop will focus on Yin Yoga poses which stimulate flow of the Qi in the Liver and Gall Bladder and return harmony to out-of-balance emotions like anger, frustration and irritation. We will discuss how to keep the Wood element harmonised, and a printed handout will be provided.
