Introduction to Vinyasa Yoga Course

Students are guided at a gentle but dynamic pace through the foundations of the postures, the correct way to move in and out of postures, how to develop better posture and practices for relaxation. You will also learn about breathing, be introduced to core work and the practice of staying alert and relaxed at the same time.

Program of the Introduction Session:

  • Introduction to what is yoga
  • Basic breathing techniques
  • Sun salutations
  • Standing and balance postures, which cultivate strength and stamina
  • Backs bends, which cultivate mobility in the spine
  • Forward bends, which bring calmness
  • Restorative and relaxing poses

At the end of this introduction course, you will be confident to continue with regular classes.
