As you all probably know the lockdown is prolonged until 9th February 2021. Fortunately we continue to offer our online classes.
Entering another lockdown may feel like being shaken just like a snow-globe.
Imagine yourself sitting in a snow-globe. When the snow-globe is shaken, it is a storm, the snowflakes are moving and it is difficult to see through it. You can see the snowflakes as your emotions and thoughts which are triggered by different circumstances. You may feel irritated and sad at the moment. You may worry about the future. It is ok to face those emotions. But when you sit still, and observe the snowflakes, you will see that they slow down. You can see through it again. You are relaxed now. You can now make your decisions.
Remember “The process of growth continues” let us focus on compassion, trust and contentment for the coming month.
- Instead of worrying about how are you going to spend your holiday time away from family, think about others – maybe there is somebody who needs your help. Make time to call somebody you haven’t spoken with for a long time and let yourself listen to their story.
- Instead of being scared about the future, say to yourself “I trust that everything will take a good turn.”
- Instead of thinking about what you are not able to do, think about what is possible and enjoy it.
“You think this is just another day in your life? It is not just another day. It is the one day that is given to you. Today.” — Brother David Steindl-Rast
Like I said in the previous email, “it has been a challenging year, and it is still challenging”. I feel strengthened by your support, your beautiful energy of love and care. Your support, either by keeping your membership active or by donation, helped Yoganesa through the previous lockdown. I truly hope we can count on your support again.
I am encouraging you to join online classes during the lockdown. The past months have shown the power of regular practice. If you not able to join the classes via live-stream there is the possibility of receiving a recorded class so you can practice in a moment that is convenient for you. Zoom is a handy online platform, as easy to use as Skype or FaceTime, with which we can have a beautiful yoga class LIVE. Perhaps at this time you need yoga and meditation, to take good care of yourself, to let go a little, to go from your head to your body, to feel and to trust. With ZOOM, we can continue to offer classes and continue doing yoga together. Physically separated but energetically connected: it’s the magic of technology.
If you want to join the online yoga classes follow the next steps:
1. Download Zoom on your phone, laptop or tablet (the device you want to use to take the online yoga class)
You can find Zoom in the App store on your phone or tablet.
You can also download Zoom from the website: https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting
2. Register via My Yoganesa for an online class. This registration is the same as for a regular lesson in our timetable. You can register up to 30 minutes before the start of the class.
When you have registered for an online lesson, you will receive a confirmation email with the links to join class. Please click on the link and teacher will let you enter the room.
Last but not least: choose a nice space in your house, use a yoga mat, blanket. And enjoy the your practice!
With love, peace and trust.
