Prenatal and Postnatal yoga

For as long as I remember the natural, healthy manner of interaction and the connection between body and mind has captured my interest. I was educated as a  nurse and yoga teacher,  and especially feel comfortable when I’m teaching yoga to women during their pregnancy. This originates from  the time when I was still working only as a nurse, and was confronted with sickness and health during pregnancy.

From childhood on I looked at life with a critical mind and asked myself questions about life. At the end of my study at the Art Academy I started to practice Yoga, intuitively I got attracted to it. Even in the twelve years I worked in the fashion world, I was practicing Yoga, I attended courses and I was teaching. I also did self-examination in groups, meditations (vipassana), shamanistic ceremonies and traveled extensively.

Raja yoga

Thea practices yoga for more than 25 years. She succesfully finished Raja Yoga Teacher Training. Beside that she followed certified international teacher training in India, Dharamsala (RYS200). Further she did participate in workshops, retreats and yoga classes with well-known teachers from Europe, USA and India. She still attends trainings and workshops. Thea is inspired by hatha and raja yoga.
